Collection: Rathenart Designs

Rebecca Anne Brady is an established artist and textile designer based in Picnic Point, New South Wales. Her bespoke styles are influenced by her connection to the landscape, woven from the narrative of her life and adventures which are connected to the relationship with her children.

Rebecca’s unique and creative response to the Australian landscape is detailed and vibrant. Her compositions have been described as a kaleidoscope of colour and decorative markings that take the viewer on an adventurous journey. The many layers within Rebecca’s tufted tapestries and mixed media paintings are collaged, revealing hints of flora and a blend of textures and colours that celebrate the subject matter.

Rebecca’s first fabric collection for Rathenart Designs was launched in the Summer of 2011 at Las Vegas Fashion Week.
